Calgary Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson is day-to-day but “doing well” after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening, the team announced Thursday on Twitter.

Andersson was riding a scooter on his way to dinner in Detroit when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital to get tests done and was released Wednesday night.
The 26-year-old will remain with the team on their road trip an will not play in Thursday’s game against the Red Wings.
Andersson has seven goals and 34 points in 51 games this season for the Flames.
