    Does A Fantastic Job!

The media could not be loaded.

This is one smart vacuum. A robot vacuum needs to have a name. So, meet Alice! Alice was very easy to unpack and set up. Give yourself time to learn the vacuum to using the bot. Connecting to the Wi-fi was a snap. The bot also will need to learn the lay of the land. She has many features, which are wonderful. In the box you will find the vacuum, charging/empty station, one auto seal dust bag, manual, set oof side brushes, cleaning brush, a multi-function cleaning tool and one set of mopping pads. Now to set up Alice, it was straightforward and easy to set her up. Alice will keep your floors sparkling clean. She can vacuum and mop, she is so helpful. Alice does hot mopping, which cleans the floors better. She has true mapping, true detect, voice control, housekeeper mode, and an app for the phone. She is smart and detects the stairs and will not take a tumble down them. She has a battery life of about one and half hours of cleaning time. I can also tell her to spot clean, which is nice for those quick crumbs. She works with Alexa or Google. As for her suction power, she is mighty powerful. With the full rubber V-shaped brush head it helps to resist hair tangling in the brush. The brushes pop off (they are color coded) and the mop heads push on. Alice knows how to maneuver between rugs and floors. She can keep up with my grand-dog’s hair and the grandchildren’s crumbs. We are a large family, so Alice is always’ on the go cleaning up after someone in the family. She works as well if not better than other brands I have had. Self-emptying is a favorite and it holds plenty. I get to sit and enjoy my family and coffee while Alice is taking care of the floors, what more can I ask for? My floors look great. She talks clearly so you can understand her. When I tell her to clean, she responds clearly back to me. I like that she is not loud at all, she is quieter than most vacuums. Not only does she do a great job vacuuming, but her mopping is spot on. I am very happy with the vacuum.

    Overly complicated app.

The machine works great but the app is way more complicated than it needs to be. Ecovacs does offer very good support though, and through them I discovered that you can not only scroll down in the setup page, but you can also scroll the cleaning modes bar to the right to reveal a customize mode. This custom mode is what I needed to let me schedule different cleaning preferences on different days. (The other modes all share the same “Cleaning Preference” which selects between vacuum-only, mop-only, vacuum & mop, and mop after vacuum.) So I use the AUTO mode with vacuum-only selected and my customized mode with mop-only selected to schedule vacuum-only the day before it mops.UPDATE:It’s been cleaning our floors for a couple months now, so I thought I would give an update. A recurring problem is that a mop head often comes off when vacuuming and it encounters an edge of a throw-rug.Another issue that just came up today was a notification that the dust bag was full. I checked the bag and it was nowhere near full. So either it is simply time based or usage based, or Ecovacs just wants to sell more supplies. It does not appear to be based on actual bag fullness.Another update: ECOVACS fixed the mop head issue. They notified me of the fix and sent it me with no charge. The mop heads no longer come off. That’s good support.

Does the job but beware of damage to your floors!

I have had the Ecovac for 3 months now and I really love the convenience of the robot and how clean they get my floors BUT in my bedroom I have had numerous floor boards be destroyed by the machine. As you can see in the photos there is not much elevation from one board to the next but something in the machine has caused my flooring to get ripped up. It’s a thick anti-scratch pergo wood that I did not expect to damage so easily and is unaffected in other rooms.I only have this issue in one room and there’s not much I can do at this point except have the machine avoid this room.I have not had success with rugs either so I put on the avoid carpet mode so I clean my rugs separately.A couple of my favorite things, It is fairly good at going around obstacles but I do attempt to move everything out of the way before running the machine. The vacuum is very powerful, I had dirt from a pot on the floor and it vacuumed and mopped up the mess without me lifting a finger.Despite my floor issue I would still recommend this product because the amazing job it does cleaning. I would recommend making sure your floors are installed flush before purchasing.

    Update: Got New Mopping Plates

Update: Got new mopping plates from ECOVAC and the robot cleaner is working like new again. I noticed the plastic attachment to the main unit is much stronger plastic from previous version. It took over 1 month for the new plates to arrive and now I have to test the durability. The vacuum and mopping future was great until least month October 3 2023 the mopping plate stop functioning on one side. I have contacted customer service on multiple occasions but no replacement plates have been sent yet. They promise me the plates would be sent out on multiple email messages but I have been waiting for nearly 2 months. The device is pretty useless because it’ll constantly stop and require user assistance to reinstall mopping plate before you can continue. Because of the inconvenience, I’ve switch back to my dyson hand vac until replacement parts arrive. Do not purchase until the plate issue has been resolve by the company.

Great Mop. OK vacuum. TERRIBLE map system.

This has been a journey. Buckle up for the ride:The Mapping system:It CANNOT map diagonal walls. (A non-issue with my Roomba i9) The first 96 hrs of having this machine was ridiculous. IGNORE the app recommending “quick mapping”; save yourself a headache and immediately do “clean and map mode”. I mapped my home a RIDICULOUS amount of times.Between DEEBOT catching itself in the mirror and creating a MYSTERY “bonus room” (turn your floor mirrors around our cover them) to it simply not being able to map diagonal walls and missing various doorways.I became more stress than it was worth.I also have high pile carpet (remember this) and it DOES NOT MAP ALL CARPETED AREAS.After all that mapping, and hearing the annoying voice of Yiko complaining about non-existent “tangled brushes”. 2 WEEKS later she simply cannot find mapping locations and I had to start the process ALL OVER AGAIN! (This happens EVERY 2 weeks it seems)Contacting customer service was NO help. after about a week + of communication they told me what I already know “it can’t map diagonal walls”. And upon asking how to have her “remember where the bathroom is without remapping my entire home”, the solution they gave made her DELETE THE MAP anyway. And ANOTHER 48 hrs of mapping time happens.I’ve never been more stressed and triggered by a vacuum. Muting her completely makes her obnoxiously loud “max suction” almost bearable. The Vacuum:My i9 has better suction compared to DEEBOT on its MAX (battery draining) suction; I specifically use i9 for the rug in my living room. They BOTH may randomly get stuck, but i9 pics up what DEEBOT leaves behind. (There was the SAME few pieces of confetti stuck on the rug for nearly a month. DEEBOT just couldn’t grab it. ROOMBA grabbed it and MUCH more, after DEEBOT vacuumed the area 1hr prior. It also doesn’t get corners and trim. (Customer service said it only does once a week, which it ridiculous. It should clean everywhere EVERY time)The MOP:EXCELLENT!Cons: Water usage- it uses SO MUCH WATER! Even if you cancel the cleaning order it tries to clean the pads. And you can’t use the app while it does it.The pads are not clean-I interchange/clean pads every other day. (I have cats, and a bit of OCD about dust tracking. DEEBOT Runs 2/day) its “wash mopping pads” is really just a rinse of the loose dirt. It would be perfect if it was able to scrub a bit more.“Hot water mopping” is a joke. It would be different if there were a reservoir of water that it heated up, but no. The pads a cooled by the time they reach the kitchen. The APP:Needs WORK. At LEAST let me edit the walls in 2D mode? I’ll leave it at that…Overall: is a good mop but- for the price? The size? The NOISE (SO MUCH NOISE) I would have returned it and just bought a separate mopping system to befriend my i9.Unfortunately, customer service put me 2 weeks past my return window… and it’s too clunky to carry off…However, it does a good enough job…. My floors have never been cleaner… Once I muted Yiko and edited my map’s 2D rooms it’s been more relaxing. But we’ll see what happens 2 weeks from now….

    Game changer in floor cleaning

The media could not be loaded.

You won’t believe how the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop totally flipped my cleaning game. I mean, it’s not just your regular robot vacuum – it’s like this super sleek cleaning sidekick that’s got all the high-tech vibes. Hot water mopping and self-cleaning? Mind-blowing stuff that made cleaning hella easier and way cooler. But the real kicker is the Hot Water Mop Washing gig. Unlike other bots, this bad boy can mop with hot water! No lie, my floors are straight-up gleaming. And check this – it even hits ’em with hot air to dry ’em out fast. Moreover, the suction power on this thing is off the charts – we’re talking about 6000Pa of dirt-devouring awesomeness. It’s like a tornado of tidying up, sucking in dust, crumbs, and even pet fuzz. From my wood floors to those low-pile rugs, it switches modes like a champ, leaving nada behind. The OZMO Turbo Spinning Mop is pure magic, dude – it’s like watching it zap away stubborn stains with its insane spinning game. Now, the Auto Mop Lift move? Genius. It’s like it’s got a sixth sense for carpets – it spots ’em and lifts the mop, so only the solid surfaces get the treatment. No more soggy rugs. And don’t even start on its ninja-level Obstacle Avoidance skills. It’s like it’s got this invisible room map, dodging furniture like a pro. Precision on fleek, making me trust it even when I’m out of sight. So here’s the deal – the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop is like the rockstar of cleaning gadgets. It’s got all these mind-blowing features – hot water mopping, self-emptying, dodging obstacles, and even voice control. If you’re after a smarter, cooler way to keep your pad clean, this thing is a total game-changer. Seriously, it’s like the new king in the realm of home cleaning gadgets.

    Heavily recommended

The major cons are all app related. If you plan on having this for multiple floors, then it’s going to be a headache. I pick the base station and all to move to my second floor and it has severe difficulties not only switching maps, but staying ont he map after it’s switched. After a week of being on the right map for my main floor, it’ll still flip to my upstairs sometimes which is super, super annoying. If you don’t plan on moving the base station, it’s pretty awesome how it uses no chemicals.

Does NOT clean under cabinet kick plate

The media could not be loaded.

7/17 Upped review to 4 stars. I’m in a love/hate situation with this machine.Pros – I hate cleaning floors and it’s really terrific to have the hardwood & tile floors vacuumed and mopped. We have one carpeted study and it did a very good vacuum in there.Cons – The edge deep cleaning apparently is only for auto or housekeeping. I’m not yet ready to send it all over my house at once, plus the water wouldn’t last that long.- I have placed furniture in the living room to vacuum under the couch but it simply will not go under there. There’s plenty of clearance as I’ve set it under there myself with a couple of inches to spare.- The documentation is hopeless for the app, which is terrible. Not intuitive at all.7/15 Not at all impressed. I’ve mapped twice and it doesn’t go under cabinet kick plate area, either with vacuum only or Mop “edge deep cleaning”. Kitchen floor was fairly dirty, and it still is. Will be calling customer service Monday, but this is Way too expensive for a half baked job. As others have noted, it leaves the floor in front of the unit soaked when it exists.

I am so in love with this thing!!

The media could not be loaded.

I had an iRobot vacuum that worked just fine, but it did not have a mopping feature, which I really wanted. I was nervous about spending this much on an upgrade, but I am so glad that I took the chance on this product! The setup is very user-friendly, easy and straightforward with clear instructions and a handy app. You can create a cleaning schedule, or simply say,”Ok, Yiko,” and give it instruction to start cleaning.I have a larger 3 bedroom home, and so it does need to return to the station occasionally to clean itself and empty water/dirt from the floor and clean the mopping pads. It is no more noisey than my iRobot was, but my floors now can stay cleaner! It does a fantastic job at both sulking up my German shepherd/great Pyrenees pup’s hair that otherwise would take over our home. And the mopping pads even cleaned up small bits of hardened chocolate from my 2 young children that I would have had to scrape off the floor. Oh, and my floors are hardly damp when it is done going over an area, so it dries very quickly. It’s so nice to be able to walk on the floors without worrying about slipping or creating a mess of footsteps everywhere. This has saved me so much time as a single mom, and is THE best purchase I’ve made in a long time. The only downside thus far is that the station is a bit bulky. You’re definitely not going to be able to hide it but co sidering how well it works, its a small.price to pay.Seriously, if you have a heavy shedding pet, messy children, and/or are simply looking for some help keeping the place nice and tidy, don’t hesitate to get this! You will fall in love, too!

    Great things for lazy people.

I really like this robot vacuum, it is the best thing for a person like me. It does clean my floor very good. First, you need to download the ECOVACSHOME app and connect it to the app. Setup is easy just follow the instructions step by step. And then you need to build the map for you house. After that, the robot can do the job. There is dirty water and clean water, fill up the clean water add some solution if you want to. Me personally control it by the app but I think you can do it to press the button in the robot. And I think the best result to do it , it’s you need to pickup all the small things and let the robot clean. It really does the clean job the best. The noise is acceptable not too loud. It is high quality. The suction is like 6000pa it is strong enough. Every time when I leave my home to work, I turn on the robot, after work, my home is cleaned. It is so wonderful, like I have a housekeeper to do my cleaning. So much good things about this cleaning robot.

    Disappointed

In theory sounds great, in practice some short comings that are hard to get over, especially for 1000 bucksThe good:does a solid job of both vacuuming and moppingThe bad:The mapping process is borked. First time out of the box it got the area right , but then one day when out working the vacuum lost where the home/charging station was and on the map it moved into a wall dividing rooms in the houseHave now tried to remap 5 times and Everytime it does not pick up the bathroom in the master bedroomTo my understanding it is supposed to then add when working and according to ecovacs it will work any additional room not on the map if it is in the path while cleaningIn practice at least with the unit I got this is not trueThis means that no matter what I do I can’t get the thing to clean the master bathroom and there is no way to tell the thing to please map this area againInstead it starts all over and still won’t get itThe home/charging station is nice , but it does not fully dry out the area under where the vacuum/mop pads restsThere is a little pump area to pull out the excess water into the dump tank, but this does not fully get the standing water , which means you either have to clean the charging station every couple days or it starts to stinkIf you have a dog that sheds, expect to have to take out and clean the roller from under the vacuum before every time the robot goes to workIf not, it will stop mid task and you will need to do it thenAnd the app is really badConclusion:It is actually kinda close , but for 1k I would expect a lot moreWhen it does the job , it does it well , but too many things come up to justify the price tag

    So So convenient

The media could not be loaded.

I am very grateful to the designer who invented the automatic sweeping and mopping robot. It really saved me so much time. Our family started raising a cat last year. It sheds a lot of hair every day. This robot can clean it regularly every day, so I no longer have to worry about cat hair flying into my food. You only need to change the water in the main unit of the machine every time, and the rag is automatically cleaned, which is amazing. I have bought three robots before, and this one has the most complete functions. The white color is really clean and matches the furniture and decoration style of my home. The machine makes very little noise when cleaning. Now I don’t have to mop the floor in sweat, which greatly increases my happiness.I bought additional cleaning fluid from the same brand and the floor shining.

    Terrible investment, just avoid

This may be the worst $1100 I’ve ever spent. The vacuum runs in an erratic pattern, often missing spots, and taking almost an hour to clean a 600 square foot space. As a result, the battery is hardly enough to get through a single cleaning. It gets lost a lot too. On its most recent run, it took around five minutes to return to the cleaning station because it kept crashing into the fridge over and over. It also leaves a small pile of debris near the charging station every time it returns. But the worst part is that the wheels keep getting jammed up with pet hair. I have a medium-haired German Shepherd, and I have to clean the rollers on the main brush after almost every use or else it won’t turn. I also end up buying bags about twice as often as Ecovacs suggests because they fill up with pet hair really quickly. The bags filling up isn’t really Ecovacs’ fault, but it’s something to keep in mind. Definitely not recommended for pet owners.Too much maintenance for something that cost so much. Not recommended.

    Loving it!!!

I been watching this vacuum robot for while now, it finally went on sale!!!! I was really unsure about spending over $1000 for an automatic cleaner and if it would really be worth the cost. I visited a friend of mine that has this robot vacuum and talked about how much he loved it. Well after having this product for over a month it is amazing. It will avoid most items and we have bamboo flooring with a few room rugs and I must say the mop is great. The vacuum is also on point with little to know issues. I fully recommend this product.Great on mapping out my rooms, vacuuming, moping. Easy to use and way more efficient than the top irobot i owned previously. The down side is the price however, I love this machine. I also love the app for this machine, its clearly breaks down on how this machine does its job. Loving it.

WORKS WITH CATS MUD AND DOGS 😅

Just received my T20 Omni about a week ago and had to to tell people about it becouse I was really skeptical. To start setup was quite simple, and the map too a while to make but once it got that down it worked well. Have 3 cats 1 corgi and had construckting going on all week with people in and out. It made clean up after them quick and i didnt have to deal with all the dirt they left behind at the end of the day the suction is amazing gets even the finest cat hair. So far my floors are vinal with a few area rugs. When I have it mopping and vacuuming it seems to transition well I don’t see any water or mud on the carpet when it go’s from the hard floor to the area rug. Was somthing I was worried about, with whole two in one.The app is a little issue, weird names and you can’t customize them.like I could with rumba, hopefully the will continue to update app and featurs will be less buggy. Over all I’m happy I’ll have to come back and up day after a few months hope it’s just as good then ^_^

    Expensive Mess

I was hoping the DEEBOT T20 would live up to its hype but it has sadly disappointed. Even after many contacts with support team members and trying every possible way to make it operate as it is supposed to, it just does not. The mopping plates do not raise up high enough to avoid even the lowest pile carpets in my home. If you try to send it out to vacuum and mop simultaneously, your carpets will get wet. It simply CANNOT simultaneously mop and vacuum as the description states if you have any mixed floor surfaces. The wheels squeak and skip and the thing just make a LOT of noise. The vacuum/mop unit also gets lost quite often and cannot find its base. I was on vacation for a few weeks and came back to an update and after the app updated, my map disappeared. When I tried to remap, it seemed completely confused as to what it was doing, made an “incomplete map” many, many times then shut down to recharge. The best option I have so far is to only run it on an area-by-area basis, having it vacuum first and then mop. It’s the only way it can even begin to provide a decent clean. Ecovacs has a LOT of work to do to clean up this very expensive “mess.”

    Won’t reset T10 warning

The bag is fine. Not sure if it performs any better than a third party cheaper alternative. But replacing the old bag with one of these new ones did not reset the warning in the app, which I can’t make go away. I have been impressed with how long you can go between bag replacements, given I have 2 very hairy golden retrievers. But I sometimes clean out Deebot’s dust receptacle with my vacuum when flipping it over to remove tangled golden threads of sunshine (aka hair).

    Works perfectly so far

It’s a great mop and vacuum but not perfect, Was hard to get hooked up to our wireless internet but once that was done it has been working great. it does really well when it comes to vacuuming and mopping, Water reservoirs hold enough water to do entire house. What I love most is that it automatically washes the mop in hot water and then dries it. machine Easy to clean and maintain. Pro Tip: Make sure you empty the dirty water reservoir immediately after you mop.

Amazing, Amazing and Amazing!!Super robot vacuum + mop. we have used for 2 weeks – every single day and it has been a delight.Setup the schedule and it cleans better than regular vacuums and mopping.Once setting up for scanning purposes – make sure you open all doors to areas/rooms that need to be cleaned and remove any furniture that you would normally move. T20 creates a map of your house and identifies carpeted areas and hard floors. Installation is very easy and only take few minutes, connect to Wi-fi and you can use form your phone. Best part is that it can subsequently broom and mop. You can also limit the areas on map where it shouldn’t mop. It cleans very well and very convenient to use. Very powerful suction!! absolutely recommend it!!

    Pros/Cons Features List for T20

    * This has auto empty and I consider it a game changer.* Mopping – I have a dog so we bring in a lot of grime. Reviews show that there isn’t much difference between an agitating/vibrating mop head and rotating ones. However to me it just makes sense that a rotating mop is more effective, so that’s what I went with. It should also lift itself up so it’s not dragging around wet/dirty pads.* Onboard water tank (for mopping) – the T20 doesn’t have this. My primary thought on this is that this is one less thing that breaks or gets clogged. The T20 returns to its base for cleaning the mops and a soak. So this is probably not necessary. You can set the T20 to clean/soak the mop heads every 6, 10, or 15 mins. I set it to 6 minutes and when it returns to base the floors are still damp, so this is fine.* Auto drying – I’ve read about stinky mop heads because they were left wet. These mop heads are small and thin so I don’t see why they don’t dry overnight. OK fine I have this feature so no biggie.* Warm water washing – I haven’t tested this yet but supposedly the water heats to 55C and this is hot enough to kill things. At a minimum it helps clean the pads better than cold water.* Removable bay for cleaning- The T20 bay is fixed. You can pull out the filter to wash it but that’s it. It comes with an extendable brush for cleaning and you can manually fill it up with water brush it and suck it back to the dirty water container. Some of the other companies have a removable tray for rinsing off, this is nice.* Security cam – privacy issues aside, I really wanted a roaming security camera. Sadly the T20 doesn’t have this.* Noise – I don’t want it too noisy. Quiet and Standard are at a decent level. Strong and Max are approaching hand vac levels. I probably would not fall asleep with it in quiet mode in the adjacent room. Also I have not tested the effectiveness of quiet mode. That said, I’ll get in the habit of starting it when I leave for a dog walk making the noise it makes moot. The auto empty feature is plug in vacuum loud, fortunately it is only a few seconds. The mop washing is somewhat noisy, but not terrible.* Suction power – I need to do more testing between quiet and max. In my research I do know that I wanted in the range of 5000Pa. I’m guessing over this is negligible differences. In 2023 the T20 takes the lead with 6000Pa level of suction.* Pre-filter – in the dust bin there is the primary dust filter. In front of this is another layer of mesh helping keep the main filter clean. I like this idea and not many robots have it. The T20 has it. I believe Dreame also has this. From what I’ve read, roborock does not have a pre-filter.* Pop off brushes – The T20 side brushes are nylon push on type. The mop heads also push on. The floating main brush snaps in with two slider tabs. Very easy. I heard roborock uses screws for the side brushes. As an example my gf’s hair wrapped around the side brush and all I had to do was pop it off to remove the hair. Simple! My understanding is that silicone side brushes are more effective than the plastic/nylon type. I’ll note this as an upgrade option for later.* The T20 has a full rubber V shaped brush head. This is supposedly more resistant to hair tangling and good for hard floors.* Floor cleaner additive – I like the idea of having a canister of antibacterial cleanser. The Dreame and Narwal have this. The Omni bay has the space for it, but it’s blanked out. The T20 uses this section as storage.* Object avoidance – it seems that the rgb camera systems are best but pretty much everything in the > $500 point are about the same. “Generally ok.”* Customer Service – please note this is a single data point!! I emailed ecovacs and got a response next day. I sent Roborock two separate emails one 6/29 days ago and the other 7/3 days ago. No response.* The Omni bay is huge! Make sure you have the space for it and good luck hiding it. I prefer the narrower Dreame Ultra bay or the RR Revo bay.* The build quality is great. Despite the top not being on a hinge it is magnetic with a satisfying click in place.Ultimately this is a $1k luxury item. If you want all the bells and whistles then you can expect to be in this range. This is not the most expensive bot, but it’s certainly not cheap either!

A lifesaver for busy professionals with pets

As a busy female professional with a mischievous black cat in my 2-bedroom home, I can’t express enough how the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop has been a game-changer for my daily life. Let me break down my experience with this incredible appliance.Efficiency and Convenience (5/5):First and foremost, this robot vacuum and mop is a time-saving marvel. With my hectic work schedule, I barely have time to catch my breath, let alone clean my floors daily. However, the Deebot T20 Omi has been an absolute lifesaver. Its smart navigation system ensures that every inch of my home is cleaned thoroughly, from hardwood floors to carpets. Even with my cat’s tendency to shed, the Deebot leaves no pet hair behind. I can’t believe how much time I’ve saved thanks to this little helper. One of the standout features of the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop is its auto-emptying function. This innovation has made my life even more convenient. The robot vacuum autonomously empties its dustbin into the designated dock after each cleaning session, ensuring that I don’t have to worry about emptying it myself for weeks on end.Pet Hair Management (5/5):Speaking of pet hair, I was initially skeptical about how well the Deebot would handle it. But it’s been a pleasant surprise. With its strong suction power and specialized brushes, it effortlessly sucks up every last cat hair, ensuring my home looks clean and tidy at all times. This has greatly improved the air quality in my home, which is a big plus for both my health and my cat’s.Mopping Functionality (3/5):The mopping feature is a fantastic addition, especially in a home with a furry friend. It’s not as powerful as a manual mop, but it does a great job at tackling light spills and keeping the floors fresh between deep cleans. However, the water tank’s limited capacity can be a drawback, especially if you have a larger area to cover. You may find yourself needing to refill it multiple times during a single cleaning session, which can be a bit inconvenient.Quiet Operation (5/5):Considering my busy work-from-home schedule, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the Deebot is. It doesn’t disrupt my virtual meetings or disturb my cat’s napping sessions, making it a seamless addition to my daily routine.Smart Home Integration (5/5):The compatibility with my smartphone and voice assistant is a huge plus. I can schedule cleaning sessions while I’m away or simply ask my smart speaker to start cleaning when I’m in a rush. It’s incredibly convenient and adds another layer of control to fit my busy lifestyle.Maintenance (4/5):Maintaining the Deebot is straightforward, with easy-to-follow instructions in the manual. The only minor drawback is that the dustbin and water tank could be a tad larger for my liking, especially with a cat around. However, regular emptying and cleaning solve this issue.Price (4/5):It’s important to note that the Deebot T20 Omi is an investment, and while its performance justifies the cost for many users, it might not be within everyone’s budget. If you’re on a tight budget, there are more affordable robot vacuum options on the market. However, the features and convenience it offers may make it worthwhile for those who can stretch their budget a bit.In conclusion, the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omi Robot Vacuum and Mop has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. It’s a savior for busy professionals like me who want to maintain a clean and pet-friendly home without sacrificing precious time. If you’re a fellow cat owner or just a busy individual, I highly recommend giving this smart vacuum and mop a try. It’s a worthy investment that has made my life significantly easier and my home a cleaner, more pleasant place to live. Just keep in mind the minor drawbacks when considering this product.

    Worthy Upgrade from the X1

Ive been using the X1 Omni for a year now and i was ready to pick up another vacuum for my second floor and was excited to see that a new and improved version had been released. This is a very feature rich robot vacuum that vacuums and mops (with hot water), navigates around the house and various obstacles using lidar, automatically empties the bin when full cleans the pads when dirty, uses hot air to dry them, sucks out the gross water and puts fresh water back into the vacuum – all automatically. It can do this on a schedule that can be set in the app that allows it to be “almost” autonomous requiring user intervention sparingly. Every couple of weeks for attending to the water and bags, and then randomly whenever it might get hung up on a dog or kids toy that needs special attention.Personally I really like new new color choice over last years model. The white and aluminum look is very modern and clean and fits in nicely with my home interior without sticking out like a sore thumb. With three dogs it always amazes and disgusts me at the amount of dog hair this vacuum is able to get off the floor. I can’t imagine the condition of my floors without it.Based on my usage of the X1 the roller and pads last about 6 months. This one contains a new all rubber (no bristles) roller that i expect to last much much longer – if it even ever has to be replaced. The pads themselves are very similar but stay permanently attached on the T20 and the machine will raise and lower them as needed. The app is smart and has lots of features including naming my rooms and identifying furniture, setting up “no go” rooms to avoid, it has options around how deep of a cleaning it should do when it goes out, adjustments around the sensitivity of the obstacle avoidance, scheduling options, do not disturb option for when I go on vacation, as well as firmware updates so it can continue to improve and get better with fixes and enhancements. If considering this vs the older X1 there are a few key callouts i can make based on my experience with both:- Aesthetics – Personally I think the color and look of the white fits in better with most home and is less obtrusive sitting against the wall- Suction – This one does seem to be a little stronger in the suction department. I have noticed random small pieces of trash that might get missed with the X1 seem to be grabbed with the T20. The T20 has 6000Pa vs the X1 which has 5000Pa- Autonomous nature – The T20 mopping pads stay on the machine and it determines when to use them by raising and lowering them. The X1 require user intervention to install the mopping pads and plan a mopping cleaning mission- Hygiene/Cleanliness – The T20 uses hot water and hot air to clean the mopping pad allowing them to stay cleaner and last longer. The X1 will clean the mopping heads but its cold water with a hot air dry.- Navigation – The T20 seems a bit better at navigating through the house, creating maps, and avoiding random obstacles it encounters. Not that the X1 did a bad job, this one just seems to be a bit better and requires less manual intervention. The T20 does state that it has the newest version of the Mapping and detection software and that would seem to be true.

    It’s fairly life altering

The media could not be loaded.

My first robovac/mop was a Eufy Hybrid, it just kind of dragged a mop pad behind it. I was happy with Eufy, but over time it started having trouble getting up a threshold from my living room to kitchen. I think the tires lost some tread over the last year as it repeatedly attempted to 4-wheel drive over the flooring transitions in my home. I also wanted a more robust mopping system. So, I researched robovacs that could go over the problematic threshold. The best ones typically can only go up and over a .78″ step. My threshold is about 1/2″ at the start of the ramp, and about 0.75″ at the top.According to the Ecovac’s website, “What is the highest threshold robot vacuums can handle?Typically, robot vacuums can handle a maximum door threshold height of 15-20mm. The thresholds used in American homes vary by manufacturer, ranging from 6mm to 25mm or more. ECOVACS’ DEEBOT smart vacuums can climb thresholds up to 20mm.”20mm=0.78″This Deepot cleans & mops like a champ —-way way way better than my Eufy. I’m pretty sure that it removed about 5 years of residue from my poorly mopped hardwood floors in about a week of daily scheduled mop cleanings. I didn’t see a spec of dog or cat hair for a glorious week while in use.I thought the app was pretty easy to use.Unfortunately, I had to return it because it couldn’t climb that threshold. I tried to help it by positioning a door mat, but it even seemed to struggle at times with the mat in place. I also couldn’t get it to stop eating my ruggable. I was able to program it to avoid the ruggable, but that kind of defeated the purpose of having the vac. I want my rug clean too.But overall– if your floor is flat, this thing is worth the $1044 (what I paid).I uploaded a video with this review that show it hanging up on the mat, pictures of the ruggable and the threshhold (with a stick a butter for size perspective). If you have a threshold like mine and you’re wondering what to buy with technology the way that it is at this moment on 10/10/2023, there’s two options:Eufy X9, according to Eufy customer support has the same wheels/tires as my old model that could climb (BUT) you have to manually clean out the dust collector. For my high shedding dog, this isn’t an option for me.Roborock S8 Pro Ultra Robot Vacuum, Auto-Drying, Self-Washing, Liftable Dual Brush & Sonic Mop, —-this is the one I want but I’m not ready to pull the trigger on a $1500 vacuum but it features this “Liftable Brushes and Mop Offer You More. The liftable brushes and mop can separate vacuuming and mopping in a single clean, maximizes the cleaning effectiveness for different tasks such as carpets cleaning and hard floor cleaning, and avoids leaving stains after a clean. If an entrapping threshold is set in the app, the brushes and mop will both lift automatically and help the robot climb it more easily.”I’m pretty sure that it will be able to clear my threshold if it lifts all the brushes and mop up, but that is what separates it from the $1000 models. I am a little sad that it doesn’t have dual wheel brushes and just has the sonic clean, but other reviewers say it works great.

Constant disconnections and messy docking station after leaving

7/8/23Love the features like the smart mopping that retracts over carpet/rugs, and automated mop rinse and dry after use. Was excited to upgrade from previous Ecovacs T8+, which continued to work great for my carpet upstairs. But, T20 Omni disappointed me due to constant offline status when it docked to charge. First time, it showed blinking light under the hood. Had to manually turn off and turn back on and wait to see if would get connected. Then overnight, it went offline again with no light. Once again, had to flip the switch under the hood and wait to see it get connected. Once disconnected, the stored mapping disappears. So it’s really annoying to wait to map or debug the app to select the rooms I wanted to get cleaned right away. Also, when it leaves the docking station with wet mop from washing, it still leaves dirty residue all over the front of the docking station. This my first day owning T20 Omni, but I had to brush and wipe the front area that blackened after several back and forth from mop cleaning.I may return this if it keeps getting disconnected like this. Never experienced this kind of problem for my Ecovacs T8+. For $1,000 robot vacuum, I expected more premium experience compared to my previous sub $600 robot vacuum.Update 7/12/23After updating T20 Omni to the latest current firmware, 1.6.8, I have not experienced any drops with the connection. I am very pleased that this got resolved with the firmware update. One thing to note after using as many times as possible, I did not like that the edge of the carpet entry would get wet still when the mops are raised up. Another minor annoyance is that it would get stuck around a rug that has black strips. I tried moving the rug a bit more to the side and set the no-go zone through the app so that it could mop the small walking area between the wall and the rug, but it kept getting stuck still.Overall, I am pleased with the performance, which made me reevaluate the rating to 4 stars (maybe 4.5 stars). But some minor annoyance is blocking it to 5 stars.Pros:- Great mop cleaning features and uses hot water to mop and clean.- Long lasting battery power. For stronger suction setting and mop regular, it lasted almost 3 hours during repeated deep cleaning.- Mop/vacuum cleaning efficiency. Does decent job.- Great object detect system that avoids various things like cords and plant vines.Cons:- Uses a lot of water, which could be lessened through the app, but it does consume a lot for big floor. I had to refill the clean water and dump the water after each session.- Base station dock tray gets easily dirty after runs. The white color does not help here.- Wish there’s a way to disable the black line no-go zone to get stuck less, but I know that most if not all robot vacuum use the black lines as no-go zone.

Limited by the vacuum software and the app – with no indication that Ecovacs will improve.

This is quite an impressive piece of equipment. But I can’t recommend it, and I have to return it now. Here’s what I see:Pros:The robot hardware is very well designed, has the ability to vacuum and mop during the same run. Can even raise the mop quite high so that when it goes over a carpet it avoids getting it wet.The auto-clean station is very capable. Really cleans the dirt out using powerful suction whenever the robot vacuum returns. It also cleans the mopping pads with heated water in order to get the best sanitization before the the robot continues mopping.Support: Pretty quick response time (see below for the cons about support)Cons:The robot is not intelligent enough. It spends an inordinate amount of time trying to get around things. I have an older Roborock that has much more intelligent movement. The roborock would get into a tight spot and pretty quickly get out. The Deebot doesn’t get out quickly. Eg, it goes into the tight spot, and then slowly starts to turn to try to get out. It attempts to dislodge itself 5 or 6 times each time rotating slightly, then when it’s pretty close to getting out, it decides to start that process over. Doh! It just keeps repeating the same sequence. The robot also has no recall of which paths to take to get anywhere. The docking station is near my dining room table. When I ask the robot to clean a room, it constantly takes the same path through the dining room chairs. This takes so long. The app is also missing lots of functionality:1. No manual control – Roborock allows me to take control of the vacuum and make it move like a remote control car. This was very useful if I needed to clean a quick spot. It would also be useful to get the robot around my dining room table.2. Can’t schedule both vacuum-only and vacuum-mop sessions. Eg, I want vacuuming on Monday, and Friday, and I want vacuum and mopping on Wednesday. Can’t do this – it doesn’t give you that choice when creating the schedule. This should be trivially possible as there’s no physical change required. It’s just an app limitation. I confirmed this issue with support.3. Can’t split apart rooms properly. We have a large open concept kitchen, office, and dining room. When I try to split the rooms apart, I just get errors. Why? Bugs, yes, but also functionality issues. Eg, you can only split apart a room if the requisite straight line you add creates two distinct areas. You can’t use two straight lines if you want to split 1/4 of a larger square (just one corner). See image. The app won’t allow that.4. No custom room names. You can only use the names that they’ve provided. See images. I confirmed with support on this.5. Getting to the support page is cumbersome. Since the app is meant to support a ton of different hardware by this manufacturer, you have to go through multiple steps to send them a request. And then they don’t even know what device you’re talking about until you tell them.6. No ability to run the vacuum in standalone mode on another floor. The software should allow for this. After I brought it up to the second floor, I was able to have it perform quick mapping. Then it just got stuck for 10 minutes searching for a dock which wasn’t there until I aborted the process. Given that I was trying to only vacuum and not mop, and it wasn’t a huge area, it should be possible to just vacuum. It isn’t possible.Support:1. Lots of features aren’t supported, and they don’t appear to have any plan to support them. All of the items mentioned above were mentioned to support. The response is just: that’s not supported. I even asked about ETA about adding in custom room names. There’s no ETA. No indication that they will add any of the missing features.

    Pretty good overall

I upgraded from a Deebot Ozmo T8 and overall I’m happy enough with the T20. The mopping pads do as well as the oscillating mop attachment of the T8, with the added benefit of not requiring manual intervention to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The vacuuming also works great. I’m especially fond of the “Hey Yiko” function, not because I ever talk to my vacuum, but so I can setup a nearby Echo Dot to say commands like “Mop then Vacuum bathroom 2”, which means I can design an intelligent cleaning schedule that’s triggered when I leave the house. (There’s a poorly documented “Housekeeper Mode” that’s only accessible from the app that strives to do this automatically for you, but there’s no integration with other smart home services so it has no idea if you’re home, away, or trying to sleep.)As for the downsides, the biggest is that the mopping feature can’t cover my whole house (1600 sq ft) without needing to be refilled once or twice. The next biggest is that the robot will either get stuck on furniture until the battery dies (an issue the T8 didn’t have) or a rug gets between the mop pad & robot, causing the pad to pop off and the robot to refuse to move until it’s manually replaced. Pathfinding is a bit better than the T8 so it doesn’t get lost as often, and the lack of a camera / remote control (the T8’s killer feature) isn’t missed so much. The smart features have a lot of potential, but you have to use hacks like having an Echo say “Hey Yiko” or installing a contact sensor in the station (to detect if the robot is docked) to do anything advanced.Overall, I’d give it a 3.5, but I’m rounding up because Ecovacs seems to be standing behind their product. They e-mailed me today out of the blue about a mopping pad upgrade they’re sending out for free to fix some commonly reported issues.

    Almost there

I’ve had the T20 for about 3 months. It is heads and tails above the Roomba it replaced. The suction is good and moping overall is good. I have found 4 “issues” with it. They aren’t huge but are easily fixable with software.1) Despite it fitting, it will not clean under the cabinet overhangs in the kitchen (the little areas where the cabinet overhangs the floor). This is really frustrating for a unit that costs this much. There has to be a software fix for this.2) If you set it to go and do a vacuum and mop in an area that is primarily carpet with a little bit of tile to mop it goes back to the base station to clean it’s mopping pads even when they are lifted and it is only vacuuming (the carpet). This makes the job take longer and wastes a lot of water in the clean water tank.3) I have a higher pile rug. The robot can get on it and go over it, but it generally won’t vacuum it.4) The iPhone app is not very good or intuitive.

Game Changer! I love my Ecovacs Deebot T20!

We purchased the Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni after having a Roomba for several years. Our Roomba is still working, but did not have many of the features that are available on the newer robotic vacuums. After much research, we decided to give the Deebot T20 a try. After the initial setup, we sent it out to map and vacuum our house. We did not do the quick map, so it took a bit longer to complete. We have a 2400 sf house and it had to vacuum the whole house. Once it was complete, we went around to inspect. I must say that we were blown away by how much better it did vacuuming than our older Roomba. We have a long-haired cat and usually still see cat hair around the house even after the Roomba is done vacuuming. That was definitely not the case with the T20! The T20 did get stuck near our toilet, but we went into the app and set up a virtual boundary around the toilet before we sent it out to mop and that worked perfectly. Besides that, there were no other issues vacuuming. It was able to complete vacuuming our whole house on a single charge. Our Roomba usually had to return to its base three times to completely vacuum our house. We then sent the T20 out to mop the whole house. Once again it did an amazing job! We intentionally let the floor get really bad to see how it would do. I have to admit that I was skeptical that it would be able to do a thorough job using just water, but I was definitely wrong as you can see by the picture! It did just as good of a job as I would have if I mopped the floor myself! Setting up and naming the map in the app was a little tricky for me, but my husband took over and had no problem. It is a large unit, as you can see by the picture. It is almost as high as my dining room hutch, but definitely worth it to have all of those features! Also nice to know is how responsive Ecovacs is. We called them the first night we received the vacuum with a few questions and were prompted to leave a message. We figured that we wouldn’t hear from them for several days since the next day was a holiday. They called us the very next morning and were able to answer our questions immediately. The T20 is quite expensive, but after seeing how good of a job it did cleaning, I feel that it is definitely worth the money!

The best robot vacuum and mop I ever had!

I have been using the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop for a month now and I am very impressed with its performance. It is easy to set up and use, and it does a great job of cleaning my floors. The YIKO voice assistant is another cool feature of this product. It allowed me to control the robot vacuum with voice commands, such as “start cleaning”, “stop cleaning”, “go back to the dock”, etc. It also gives me feedback on the cleaning status, battery level, error messages, etc. It is very responsive and friendly. The suction power of this robot vacuum is impressive. It has 6000Pa suction, which is enough to pick up dust, hair, crumbs

Requires little maintenance and lasts a long time

I currently was using two robot vacuums on our main floor. One for the carpeted living area and one for the hardwood kitchen/dining area. This is so that the vacuum could mop the hardwood too. That is why I was researched and bought this robot vacuum that came with the ability to lift the mop. I was hopeful that I would only need one for the entire floor so that it can both vacuum and mop. We’ve been using it for about a month now and it has been working very well. There have only been a few days that it has gotten stuck – usually because our kids left something small like a pipe cleaner in the way. The self-emptying function works well too. It does require maintenance to keep it fully clean but at least it is not a daily thing. The robot can empty ifs dirty mop water and dust bin by itself so we only need to check it every week to ensure it’s still clean. We honestly have a bunch of robot vacuums and the things that have been most annoying about them have been how often they get stuck, and how often we have to clean them out. This robot vacuum was surely an investment but it helps reduce the headache of daily maintenance. You can see the vacuum lines that feel so great to wake up to every morning (we run it every night and when it gets stuck, we don’t wake up to the nice crisp vacuum lines).Aesthetically, the colour scheme helps not make it look like a sore spot in the living room. The white and silver sleek look blends it into our decor (our previous ones were black and looked obviously out of place).

    Has problems with rugs

The mapping feature on this product is great. The machine has problems getting on/off any rugs on my hardwood though. It will commonly catch the mop heads and they will pop off. Then the robot just waits for me to fix them after I get home from work. I’ve started picking up rugs before I leave and that helps. Otherwise works well.

The latest and greatest smart vacuum cleaner

This is probably 1 of the best vacuum cleaners I’ve ever owned. Although the price is steep, it is definitely worth it. I work almost 80 hours a week, and this saves me much time in terms of cleaning the house. This vacuum cleaner runs multiple times daily and will mop and dry its little brushes multiple times in one run.1 of the best things is the autodetection feature which will detect things and move around them. I love the fact that my dog can sit, and the vacuum cleaner will not bother him. There is also the carpet section which works pretty much accurately. There is some wetness at the edges of my carpet but that is to be expected with robot vacuum cleaners. This is most likely residual wetness from the mopping future next to the hardwood. One great thing is it’s quick mapping feature which I have shown a screenshot of it quick mapping my house. The only downside is you have to add furniture but this is more aesthetic than functional. I have quick map my house multiple times as a move furniture and it only takes probably 10 minutes for it to map the entire house. I also like that it continues to map with time and gets better as it does more runs. You can also edit the map in order to create more rooms and divide your house into sections. Put my old robot vacuums I usually had to stay in the house in case it gets stuck. But this has so far been good where I usually don’t have to stay in my home and I can let it run and do its thing without having to worry that it will get stuck. I highly recommend this to everyone especially those who hate cleaning floors this will change the game.

    Uses far too much solution

It uses at least twice as much solution than my X1 Omni (on its lowest setting!). It is set to only clean a small room and needs full refill after 3 washes while the X1 cleans a whole floor and its tank lasts almost a week.As a consequence it sends the “sink full” alert pretty much on every cleaning job (thus pausing it) rendering the whole automation concept useless. Most of the water is wasted during a pads cleaning cycle that is far too long and it is not customizable (not in a significant fashion).Contrary to the X1 that allows you to set how much water it should use per cleaning, this one doesn’t.Also, it’s a more expensive device but with less options. For instance it doesn’t have a camera view option unlike T10 and X1.For the high price I’m pretty disappointed and I only regret I realized these issues after the return window. Most of these issues could be fixed with firmware upgrade. Users should have more control over the amount of water being used, especially for those like me with wood floors.

    So far so good

The dust bag has been a game-changer in terms of convenience and efficiency, the installation process was incredibly simple and hassle-free. The bag fits perfectly into the DEEBOT T20 Omni, and it securely locks in place, ensuring that no dust or debris escapes during cleaning. It’s a significant improvement over the previous dust collection system I had, which involved emptying and cleaning a dustbin manually. The disposable nature is a huge advantage, all I have to do is remove and replace it with a fresh one. This eliminates the need for any messy emptying or cleaning, saving me time and effort. Additionally, the bag is made of high-quality materials that effectively trap even the finest dust particles, ensuring a thorough cleaning every time.I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall suction power since using these. This has resulted in cleaner floors and carpets, with the vacuum being able to pick up more dirt and debris than before.Overall, I am extremely satisfied, it has simplified my cleaning routine and improved the performance of my robot vacuum. If you own a DEEBOT T20 Omni. The price is reasonable, considering the convenience and effectiveness they provide.

All in one solution for clean floor

the hot water mop washing feature is a game-changer. It not only vacuums up dirt and debris but also mops with hot water, leaving my floors not just clean but also sanitized. The difference in cleanliness compared to traditional mopping is noticeable, and it’s a major time-saver.One of the standout features for me is the self-emptying system. It takes care of emptying the dustbin for me, so I don’t have to worry about that chore. It’s especially handy for pet owners as it handles pet hair with ease. The hot air drying feature is a nice touch, ensuring that my floors are not left wet after mopping, reducing the risk of slips and falls. It’s also convenient for those times when I need to clean up quickly before guests arrive. The 6000Pa suction power is impressive. It tackles everything from fine dust to larger debris with ease. Even crumbs and pet hair are no match for this robot.

    So far, it is fantastic

The media could not be loaded.

I just received this today; therefore, I cannot comment on long term use, but so far, it has been fantastic. I have a Deebot that is several years old and it still works, but eventually started smashing into furniture. I have 2 dogs and they are both messy eaters. I am constantly mopping my floors. I was excited for this Deebot to be released. It was very easy to set up and get running. The instructions were easy to follow. I had to download an app, but everything has an app these days. After charging the system, I sent the robot out to map my house. Once it was mapped, I named the rooms and was able to divide areas to allow more specific cleaning. The mapping is fairly accurate. I then started the cleaning. It transitioned from wood to rug well. I noticed that some edges of the rug are damp, but it makes sense. When you see it in action, it is doing well to adjust to half on and half off the carpet. The app is easy to use. I was able to set parameters for cleaning and it gives a few options. The voice commands worked well. I was able to tell it to mop the kitchen and entry and it did just those areas. You can have more than one map. You can tell it to only clean a specific area. You are able to tell it to pause or return to base. The video might make it sound loud, but it isn’t. I haven’t tried, but I believe I could watch TV while it is running. People could definitely have a conversation. . I wish I could upload more videos, but Amazon only allows one. Based on today’s experience, I would recommend the device. It’s a new product and I can’t speak about longevity, but my old less sophisticated Deebot is still working.

    Make you hand free

The media could not be loaded.

I have use robot vacuum before. This is the one more valuable and useful one. Compare to other robot vacuum, it is more powerful and efficiency. It got 6000pa which make your floor more clean . It will easy avoid objects even a tiny one. So it will not make your machine broken. It got their own route so it doesn’t go around your house randomly. It also easy to connect to you phone and to set up different functions. The most important thing, it is got voice assistant which means even you are doing other things. you can open it to do housework for your. Even you only want to cleans a special space. This is robot vacuum and mop combo I will be recommend. As a housewife, this robot really save a lot of time for you. The only thing you do is just put on water and pour out dirty water. The machine will clean the mop with hot water by themselves. It is really do the hands free for you. I am so glad that I find it and have it.

    Amazing!

This vacuum/mop is amazing. I bought it not expecting much because I tend to let my brain get ahead of me. It cleans really well. Picks up all debris. Sometimes it has a hard time getting up stuck on messes but other than that does well. My issue is with the app. App stops working, and then the map changes or get disoriented and then it can’t find the location you want it to go to. I wish the app had more furniture options or the ability to Designate where there are toe kicks and thresholds. The deebot is surprisingly really quiet when it’s working. I usually do a 2x clean, with edge cleaning, and the strongest suction for the vacuum, and I can comfortably have a conversation on the phone while it’s working away in the same room. It stays constantly charged which is great that I don’t need to remember to plug it in.

Voice control works pretty good, Mop Pads are abysmal!! Short warantee!

Update November 18th. One of the mop pads will not stay on for 2 minutes. The robot stops and calls for help to put the mop pad back on I spend more time putting the pad back on than I would if i was mopping the floor myself. I would like to return this. A month ago the company notified me that there was a mop pad issue, and said they were sending out new-improved ones, but I have not heard from them since.Original review:I like the voice controls that come with the Omni. I think the phone application is really clunky though, but I can’t compare it to others. The initial mapping is okay as long as you tape towels to your sliding doors and your curbless shower doors, or it will try to map those areas and get stuck on sliding door thresholds and try to enter the glass of the shower area. But then you need to save that map as I found out or it will remap the area when you ask it to vacuum which sucks! Overall, it does a good job mopping and vacuuming, The scheduling is easy to use. My wife was skeptical, but now that the kitchen floor is clean, she loves it. The mop water needs to be replenished quite often though. I’m not sure how this compares to other robot vacuums. It will get suck on thick power cords and thick carpets; so, you may need to block these areas off on the map and do them by hand. That is a major drawback, but that is true of all robot vacuums. All in all, I would recommend this brand of robot vacuum.Update, 11/7/23 The application keeps updating my maps and also deleting the custom names that I added to the rooms; so, voice control does not work if the names have changed to something random. Also one of the mop pads keeps on unsnapping and falling off which strands the vacuum. It’s nice that it can call for help, but I feel like I’m babysitting the vacuum more than was intended upon purchase. 11/26/23: Customer service is not helpful. Warrantee is only 3 months! I should have purchased a Roborock; their warrantee is a year.

    Very disappointed

The media could not be loaded.

I bought this vacuum in July 2023 and I have been extremely disappointed with its performance. I think if it actually worked, it would be great but unfortunately it doesn’t even seem to be able to get through a full cleaning without a malfunction. The first issue I had was, although I had set up push notifications for the app, they would not come through however that seems to have remedied itself within the last few days. The second issue is that it cannot handle area rugs. I put the station near an area rug and every morning when I would come downstairs, it would be stuck on the area rug with the mop pads taken off. I had to move the station somewhere else, that I really didn’t want it, and turn the settings on for it to completely avoid rugs. I also had to ban it from going into my office that has carpet because it would get tangled on my computer cords plugged into the wall. The third issue is that it just cannot seem to complete an entire cleaning. I’ll come downstairs in the morning and it will be sitting in the middle of my hardwood floor, with nothing around it, and when I check the app (because I wasn’t getting push notifications) it will say that the main brush is tangled. When I check the main brush, it is not tangled. I don’t know if it has ever completed a full cycle cleaning without having a malfunction that causes it to stop.My latest issue is the noise it is making. This is new and occurred after I removed the main brush, after it once again malfunctioned for the 5th night in a row saying the main brush was tangled, it now has an awful sound which you can hear in the video.I am waiting for ECOVAC support to answer me currently, but I have to say I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the amount of money I spent on this. I feel like I should be able to set it and forget it and that is totally not the case.

    Awesome!!

This new robot is much smarter than my other robots. The other robots in my family are almost four years old and still working, but I need a robot that can sweep and mop together. So I chose this T20, this robot is much better. It works really well. The only time it makes a big noise is when it sucks trash into a dust bag. However, this situation only takes ten seconds. It is very clean, and after the T20 completes 1 vacuum +1 mop cycle, it automatically returns to the base station high temperature flood wash rag which is my favorite thing about it. The navigation function is very good, I have yet to see the robot hit anything in my place, and it has never gotten stuck anywhere. On the contrary, my old robot would often get stuck in many places and almost never return to the charging station on its own.

    So far so good

Just received my T20 Omni yesterday. Setup was quite simple, and the map generated quickly (it has not yet identified furniture or floor types – though there are options for this, so hopefully this will populate soon). Have only used it for vacuuming thus far – will be running a mop cycle later and am excited to test the power mopping functionality, plus the ability for the mops to “raise” in order to address hard floors and carpets during the same cycle.Seems well made and is attractive from a design standpoint. The base is LARGE, but it needs to be able to house the deebot, have a place for the dirt bag, and hold two canisters for clean and dirty water. It is quieter than my earlier version (2-year old) Deebot, and my quite old Roomba. The app/software leaves a little bit to be desired, like issues combining rooms or dividing rooms. There is only a fixed list for room names and it mysteriously omits “family room” from the list, but has room names for Cloakroom, Lounge, Gym, Study, and “Tatami.” Curious to say the least. It’s clear (as is typical with these types of products) that Chinese people have built it, as there are the typical phrases and words that, while you can get the gist of what they mean, are clearly not how you or I would write. Why these companies don’t have a native English speaker perform QA on their instruction booklets and software text is beyond me.

    It’s perfect for household use

The media could not be loaded.

I was looking for a robot to clean my house after I got a Pomeranian that shed a lot. Finally found this newly released robot that can automatically clean and wash by itself. All I need to do is to fill up the water tank and cleaning solution.Apps can be downloaded at App Store by searching or simply scan the code on the device, it has step by step directions to set up the device. Map created while it’s cleaning, it saved and I can separated the rooms, so that I can do whole house cleaning of just somewhere that needs to. It goes back to wash the mop about 10 minutes by my setting or it can be setting manually go back to wash the mop at the station. Not much noise which is ok to use in the evening as well. It will correct the dust after it done cleaning. It can be set to clean at a specific time everyday. Even better. I can use the app to control the robot not matter where I am which is very convenient. So far I am very satisfied with my new robot and it really release my hands. I use it everyday and my floor looks great.

    Recommend!!!

I can’t begin to express how impressed I am with the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 Omni Robot! From the moment I brought it home, my life has become so much easier and my floors have never been cleaner.Setup was a breeze, and the app makes controlling the DEEBOT incredibly intuitive. I love the versatility of this robot – it effortlessly transitions from hard floors to carpets without missing a beat. It’s also impressively thorough, reaching every nook and cranny, thanks to its advanced navigation and mapping technology. What truly sets the DEEBOT T20 Omni apart is its impressive cleaning performance. It handles pet hair, crumbs, and dust with ease, leaving my floors spotless. The Omni brush design ensures that not a speck of dirt is left behind.

    smart cleaning

The Ecovacs T20 sweeper robot is a very practical household device. The operation is very simple. It has intelligent navigation to avoid obstacles and efficiently sweep floors and carpets. Plus, you can make it mop the floor and even control it with your voice! It can clean each room in the order you plan, it will clean the floor under the bed and under the sofa, but it should be noted that although it can suck the hair, sometimes the roller brush and the drive wheel can get tangled with hair and hinder the work! The Ecovacs T20 is extremely easy to maintain, making it easy to empty the bin and clean the brushes. Overall, the Ecovacs T20 is a powerful, easy-to-use and maintened-all-in-one robot.

    Great cleaning robot

We have cats that sheds a lot so we bought this vacuum and mop combo in order to save us time and effort to keep our place tidy and so far it is doing a great job.Vacuum works well. Suction is strong and the brush is made of rubber that seems very durable. Auto emptying is such a cool feature that is really a game changer. The mopping function is my favorite. It is quite impressive. The mop navigates and avoids obstacles pretty well. It also detects carpets and raises the mop so the carpet won’t get wet. The hot water mop washing and auto drying is fantastic!Overall a great vacuum and mop combo!

DEEBOT T20 is my new best friend!

Now I have a partner that is cleaning and working with me. I can wipe the counters while my new buddy vacuums or mops the floors. The only thing is that I run out of energy before my Deebot T20 does, lol. It keeps going and going. My floors have never looked so clean with so little effort from me.It’s so easy to set up and get started. I’m amazed how it knows not to go on the carpet while it’s mopping. It’s so accurate. While using the mode, I can’t believe how much dirt it gets up on floors that look clean. There’s so much hidden dirt even in my throw rugs. I’m very pleased with my robot vacuum and mop combo. It’s makes cleaning a lot more fun!

Mopping and vacuum at the same time! Savor!

The media could not be loaded.

the self-emptying feature is a game-changer. I no longer have to worry about constantly emptying the dustbin, as the DEEBOT T20 does it automatically, saving me time and effort. The hot water mop washing function is another fantastic addition, ensuring that my hard floors are not only free from dust and debris but also sanitized with a thorough mopping action. The suction power of 6000Pa is impressive, easily handling pet hair, dirt, and crumbs with ease. It seamlessly transitions from hard floors to carpets, leaving them all looking pristine. And the OZMO Turbo Spinning Mop is simply brilliant, removing even the toughest stains and sticky messes effortlessly. One of my favorite features is the auto mop lift, which means the robot knows when it’s on a carpet and automatically lifts the mop to prevent any unnecessary wetting. This attention to detail shows the thoughtfulness put into designing this device. The obstacle avoidance technology is highly efficient, as the DEEBOT T20 smoothly navigates around furniture and other obstacles without getting stuck. It’s a relief not having to constantly rescue it from tight spots!YIko Voice assistant is handy and it gets my words about 95% correct. You just have to stay close. My takeaway tip: buy the replacement mops as you will need them anyway.

Cons: Gets lost. Can’t get over small transitions between rooms. Buggy app.Pros: When it works doesn’t seem to get stuck, moping actually does something.Have only had for a week. Worth 1K….not yet. But its nicer than those dumb robot vacs from 3 years ago kind of thing.

    The one does everything!

I love my new robot vacuum from ECOVACS! Let’s start with the look, love the look of it. The white color matches really well with the furniture at home. Easy assembly, takes less than 15 minutes to set up everything. The quick guide came in the box really speed up the process of installation. The app offers a multi-function cleaning mode which is also helpful. The biggest advantage of what makes it stand out is the hot water mopping and self-cleaning. Adding on to that, the smart mapping feature is also really fast and reliable.

The thing you need to eliminate cleaning yourself

I’ve been a Ecovacs user for many years. I’ve had an ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S since 2018. It still is working, which the exception of replacing the battery once, which is normal after many years, and having to replace a wheel. Other than that, has worked and been kicking on. I’ve used another brand with the updated lidar sensor and it has done well. I had just purchased a new home and came across the advertised ECOVACS DEEBOT T20. I’ve never had a vacuum robot that mopped as well as clean. I’ve also never had a vacuum robot that auto cleaned itself and emptied on its own.I never realized how much cooler it is without having to manually clean as often as I do with my other vaccuum. This is a must buy.Outside of product itself, the app feature are just as great. Being able to map your home and having so many options to choose from, it fits anyone’s preference.I’ve had this since launch and I’ve been happy with this purchase.

    Worth the money

I waited until prime day to purchase it to get a better price. The shipping box is huge, took me a while to move it into my apartment. In the beginning, I thought it was a little bit too expensive. However, this machine really is that good! I can’t image any other robot being able to clean as well as this does. The set up was super easy, and it is working like a charm! The best feature of the robot is definitely the mopping which works great, better than any other robot I have tried before. I have tried this robot for over a week and I love it. So far so good. It did its initial mapping, vacuuming and mopping and has been doing its nightly routine with no issues. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!!

    Ah-mazing

This is an amazing vacuum/mop combo! I can program it to run a routine and there are so many customizations that I can make, such as keeping it from cleaning the bathroom, etc.I have dark hardwood floors, so I run this pretty much every other day and it does such an amazing job.The mopping is definitely better than other mopping robot vacuums that I’ve had, it legit is mopping your floor versus just running a microfiber cloth over it as it vacuums.Highly recommend, especially if you have dark hardwoods, and or kids and dogs! If I didn’t have an upstairs with carpet, I would buy this vacuum for up there as well!

    One missing feature

I love this vacuum/mop combo; however, there is one missing feature that I find annoying. You can change between mop, mop/vacuum, and vacuum, but when it comes to scheduling, if you have it set on vac/mop that’s the function it uses on all schedules. You can’t schedule to mop/vacuum in the morning and schedule to vacuum only in the evening. It isn’t an option, so scheduling runs on the same mode, sadly. I’m only giving three stars for that that tiny, necessary feature and will update my review if/when there is a fix. I’m sure it could be easily fixed with a firmware upgrade. Above all else, it is a great choice for a vacuum/mop combo and I would probably buy again.

    Quiet, efficient, and powerful

This is my first robo-vacuum and after owning it for a week I’m honestly kicking myself for waiting so long to take the plunge. I have a long-haired cat who is constantly shedding and tracking in dirt from the outdoors. I’ve been very impressed by the Ecovac’s suction ability and it has been an absolute game changer for me in keeping our apartment clean. We have hardwood floors, several wool rugs, and stairs, so prior to purchase I was nervous about how the Ecovac would navigate all of that, but the mapping and obstacle avoidance features are truly top notch – it continued to improve over the course of the week since I’ve started to use it.Additionally, I really appreciate how user friendly the design is, allowing easy install of the mopping pads. The pads themselves are durable and have good absorption capacity. All in all, would recommend!

Avery great help for a busy household, saves me hours off of cleaning the floors. The Self-Cleaning Feature for this Robot Vacuum/Mop and the process of adding water/dump dirty water was all automatic and it drys the pads itself too is my Absolute Favorite feature of This product. It is essentially self-sustaining Outside of Minimal Product Cleaning/Maintenance.But it’s not perfect, But overall a this product is absolutely wonderful i love it. The mopping pads get stuck and fall off on rugs. Now they won’t stay on at all.

The vacuum does a great job when it’s working. The vacuum moves too quickly over rugs and before the mopping plates can lift they become stuck and the rug pulls them off. Recently they have stopped staying attached altogether. I will reattach them and they will become loose and stop spinning after a single return to wash the pads during cleaning.
